Dear Susan,
Sorry that it has taken me so long to write back but I have been a little busy around here but not that busy that I shouldn’t have written back by now. Never the less I wanted to thank you for the boxes of goodies that you send to us. I know that this takes up a lot of your time doing this and there is just no way that I can show you enough gratitude for doing what you do for us. The Marines here are very thankful for all of the things that you pack in the boxes. When your boxes arrive you can see the smiles on their faces because they know that there will be something good in the boxes.
Oh my goodness do you really know how to pack a box with goodies from the baby wipes, tuna, hot peanuts, Slim Jims just to name a few but lets not forget the reading material as well Sports Illustrated and Ebony. There is nothing that is in any of your boxes that is wasted by any means and the Marines of the Guard Force would like to say thank you for the boxes that you have sent to us. I know that there is a list of things that I enjoy in the boxes, which turns out to be a majority of the box but I resist and make sure to share with all of the Marines in the section.
I can not truly thank you enough for the things that you do for us, all the Marines, Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen out on the front line in some way shape form or fashion. Thank you so very much and much love goes out to you from all of us here at the “Guard Shack”.
