About

My mission for the last five years has been to support our men and women in combat…a continuous effort to ship care packages to those who receive little or no support from home.

A little bio…..

Back in the 60′s I was an anti-war hippie flower child….marching on the Pentagon….into the 70′s I was pretty non political…that was the case for most of the eighties and nineties as well.

Then. like many Americans, after 9/11, I felt compelled to be more aware of what was happening in the world. My nephew enlisting in the Marine Corps was a major turning point for me. I became very passionate about the world around me….and politics, and the war we were waging….

I also realized that, regardless of one’s political beliefs, our troops now serving in Iraq needed to know they were supported by Americans here at home. They volunteered to fight for something we take for granted every day. Knowing that many of those volunteers were not supported by their families was key to my drive to care for them.

Thus, the start of my care packages….back in ’03…..a weekly effort to bring some of the pleasures and necessities of home to our men and women who have given up so much for us and to help the Iraqi citizens

I also came to discover that I am but a servant of God….I am following the path he has chosen for me….to serve our military…the best way that I can. He knew what he was doing when He chose me to serve in this particular ministry…. by raising money and sending care packages.

There have been hundreds of donors who have made this possible for five years, and to each and every one of them I am eternally grateful.
May this effort go forward until our troops come home!
I thank them all from the depths of my heart.
And I thank God for His guidance.
